Sarah Paden has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the political and administrative sectors. Sarah is currently serving as the Vice President and National Political Director at the Progressive Policy Institute. Before that, they worked as the Deputy Director for Federal Affairs at the New York State Executive Chamber from 2019 to 2022. Sarah also held positions such as Senior Advisor, Political Director & Deputy Campaign Manager at Andrew Cuomo 2018, and Deputy Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the New York State Executive Chamber. Sarah has experience in organizing and directing roles, having worked as the Deputy Organizing Director at Hillary For America and as the Director at Mercury. Sarah has a solid background in politics and administration, with previous roles at CGK Partners, The Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities at Bard College, and the National Association of Episcopal Schools.

Sarah Paden attended The Baylor School from 1998 to 2004 for their pre-college education, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Sarah then enrolled at Bard College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a B.A. degree with a major in Art History and Theatre. In 2006, Sarah briefly attended the British American Drama Academy, but did not pursue a degree or specify a field of study. Additionally, in 2004 and 2005, they attended The Florence Academy of Art where they engaged in intensive studies in drawing, painting, artistic anatomy, and art history.
