Anthony Nguyen

Anthony Nguyen has a diverse work experience. Anthony is currently a Controls Design Engineer at Progressive Surface, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Controls Engineer II at JR Automation from October 2018 to April 2022. Anthony also has experience in academia, serving as a Teaching Assistant at Hope College's Engineering Department from September 2016 to May 2018, where they assisted in various engineering courses. Anthony also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at Hope College from May 2016 to May 2018, contributing to a project focused on developing a potential treatment for phantom limb pain. Anthony's experience includes serving as the Director of Logistics for the Children's Miracle Network Dance Marathon at Hope College from April 2017 to April 2018, where they organized and coordinated fundraising events. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Science and Engineering Academy Instructor at Hope College in the summer of 2015, developing and instructing curriculum for students K-12. Before that, Anthony gained their first workplace experience as a Repair Technician at Gadget Pro Phone Repair from May 2014 to August 2014, where they repaired handheld devices and provided customer service.

From 2014 to 2018, Anthony Nguyen attended Hope College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Electrical Engineering. During their time at Hope College, Anthony achieved a GPA of 3.49 out of 4.00.
