Dr. Lucas Teyo

Dr. Lucas Teyo has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 2002. Dr. Lucas began their career as an R&D Project Manager at Indusmatic Corporation Sdn Bhd in 2002. Dr. Lucas then moved to InventQjaya Sdn Bhd in 2004 as a Research Scientist, and to Cisco Systems (M) Sdn Bhd in 2006 as a Technical Program Manager. In 2007, they joined MIMOS Berhad as a Senior Staff Researcher. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Product Development Director at Quantum Electro Opto Systems (QEOS) Sdn. Bhd. Dr. Lucas then moved to Kumpulan Abex Sdn. Bhd. as a Product Line Manager, where they were in charge of product development, technical support, and leading a sales team. In 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Energy Officer at Progressture Solar, an experienced Solar Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning (EPCC) & Investment company.

Dr. Lucas Teyo obtained their education from the University of Malaya. Dr. Lucas completed their Ph.D. in Photonics from 2000 to 2002, their M.Sc. in Photonics from 1998 to 2000, and their B.Sc. in Physics from 1992 to 1996.
