Trusha Shah

Trusha Shah is a highly experienced interventional anesthesiologist specializing in pain medicine. Currently serving as the Medical Director at Shah Spine and Pain since July 2021, Trusha Shah also holds the position of Department Chair for the Division of Integrative Pain Medicine at ProHEALTH Care, part of OptumCare, where involvement includes serving as Co-Chair of ProHealth's Center for Neck & Back Pain and functioning as a Senior Physician Partner at OptumCare since October 2013. Previously, Trusha Shah worked as an Interventional Spine Specialist at St. Francis Hospital, The Heart Center. Educational qualifications include a Tri-Institutional Fellowship in Pain Medicine from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, a Residency in Anesthesiology from Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, and degrees in Physical Anthropology and Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University.
