Jessica Chukwu

Jessica Chukwu, PhD, BCMAS has extensive work experience in the medical and research fields. Jessica is currently a Senior Medical Director at ProHealth, where they oversee medical operations. Prior to this, they worked as a Medical Director and Associate Medical Director at the same company.

Before joining ProHealth, Jessica worked at BGB Group as a Senior Medical Writer, where they provided client services to pharmaceutical brands and developed promotional materials for oncology assets. Jessica also played a key role in planning and executing medical congress activities.

Jessica's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NYU Langone Health and as a PhD Candidate at the same institution. Jessica has also served as a Research Technician at Columbia University Medical Center and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Laboratory Technician at Wesleyan University.

Additionally, Jessica has experience outside of the medical and research fields, having worked as a Summer Camp Director at the Robert Crown Community Center, where they were responsible for organizing and overseeing a summer camp for children aged 6-12.

Jessica Chukwu, PhD, BCMAS, obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Wesleyan University in 2011. Jessica then attended the NYU School of Medicine, Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, where they earned their Master of Science (MSc) in Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2015. Continuing their education at the same institution, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biophysics in 2018. In addition to their academic achievements, Jessica Chukwu also holds certifications in Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist from the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA), as well as certifications in Business of Science and Technology Commercialization from the New York University School of Medicine.
