Alison Saxby

Alison Saxby is a seasoned professional in the fields of materials, minerals, and mining, currently serving as Research Director at Project Blue since June 2023 and Vice Chair of the IOM3 Technologies Communities Board since November 2022. In addition, Alison holds a position as a Non-Executive Board Member at Pensana Plc since August 2022. Alison previously spent over a decade at Roskill - A Wood Mackenzie Business, where responsibilities included Managing Director overseeing multiple global operations and consultancy assignments focused on specialty metals and industrial minerals. Earlier career highlights include roles at Industrial Minerals and Buchanan Russell Associates, where significant contributions involved market analysis and consultancy work on industrial mineral markets. Alison holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mineral Engineering from the University of Leeds, earned between 1983 and 1986.
