John Hunter Anderson, LGPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in mental health and counseling services. Currently working at Project Chesapeake since August 2020, John has provided individual and co-therapist sessions addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. Previous roles include therapist at Catholic Charities of Baltimore and various positions including counseling intern and service coordinator at Pathways 4 Mental Health and Mosaic. John's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Applied Psychology - Counseling from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Stevenson University. Early career experiences in sales and management at companies such as Lowes Home Improvement and Pizza Hut contributed to strong interpersonal and leadership skills, which complement counseling expertise.
