Dr Delton Chen

Dr. Delton Chen is a distinguished expert in climate change and policy, currently serving as Project Director for the Global Carbon Reward Initiative and Global Thought Leader at the Smart Cities Council. With extensive experience as a Research Fellow at Project Drawdown and as a Climate Reality Presenter with The Climate Reality Project, Dr. Chen actively promotes impactful climate solutions. A senior consultant with expertise in groundwater resource analysis, Dr. Chen has held previous positions such as Principal Groundwater Modeller and Senior Reservoir Engineer at Geodynamics Limited. Dr. Chen earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering focusing on Island Hydrogeology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Structural from The University of Queensland.
