Tobey List

Senior Vice President, Current Programming at The Intellectual Property Corporation

Tobey List has extensive work experience in the entertainment and media industry.

They started their career at the Public Broadcasting Service in 2001, where they held various roles in program management and scheduling, including screening and managing news and information programming.

In 2008, Tobey worked as a Producer at Bunny and as an Associate Producer at No Impact Man. They then served as the Head of Production at Seftel Productions from 2010 to 2012.

From 2012 to 2016, Tobey worked at Participant Media, first as a Supervising Producer and then as the Director of Original Programming for Pivot/Participant Media. In these roles, they were responsible for creative and production coordination between the network and production companies and played a key role in launching the network and developing flagship shows.

In 2017, Tobey gained experience as a freelance producer at MasterClass, Inc. and as a development consultant at ITV Entertainment. They also worked as a current programming consultant at Fullscreen Media.

Currently, Tobey List holds the position of Senior Vice President of Current Programming at The Intellectual Property Corporation, a role they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Current Programming at the same company from 2018 to 2021.

Tobey List's education history is as follows:

From 1997 to 2001, Tobey attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and French. In 1999, Tobey also took a course in French Language and Civilization at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. Later, from 2005 to 2010, Tobey attended Columbia University School of the Arts, earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film. In 2009, Tobey participated in a course in European Co-Production at La Fémis (École nationale supérieure des métiers de l'image et du son).
