Project Recover
Wesley Abbey is a technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. As a cofounder of Wonderment since May 2020, Wesley has played a key role in driving innovation. Wesley is also actively involved as a member of Project Recover, a mission dedicated to locating and repatriating Americans missing in action since World War II. Prior to these roles, Wesley served as a Senior Software Engineer at Drizly from November 2017 to May 2020 and held software engineering positions at Wayfair, Charles Schwab, and Siteworx, LLC. Wesley Abbey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Project Recover
Project Recover’s vision is: (i) to repatriate every American service member who has not come home through research, searches, recoveries and other methodologies; (ii) to provide information and closure to the families of service members; (iii) to provide a platform to educate the public on the importance of service to one’s country; and (iv) to provide unique educational opportunities in the areas of science, technology, history, leadership, public service and diplomacy to a committed student audience, in conjunction with Project Recover’s mission, in order to provide a real world application to students and further educate the public.
