Latoya Thomas

Latoya Thomas, LMSW, currently serves as the Program Director at Project Renewal's Support and Connection Center, where responsibilities include overseeing clinical program design and providing crisis services to individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. Thomas has held various roles within Project Renewal, including Assistant Program Director and Clinical Social Work Intern. Prior experience includes Leadership positions at Marsha’s House in New York City, a shelter for LGBTQIA+ youth, as well as roles in case management and educational support for individuals on the Autism spectrum. Current engagements comprise psychotherapy services for BIPOC clients and participation in the Family Engagement and Acceptance program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. Educational qualifications include a Master of Clinical Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Human Services from Monroe University, along with ongoing training in substance abuse counseling.
