Stephen Tipps

Stephen Tipps has extensive work experience in the religious and non-profit sectors. Stephen currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Project Rescue since June 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Pastor of Operations at Plum Creek Community Church for over 14 years, from August 2007 to April 2022. Stephen also worked as the Director of Small Groups at People Church for a year in 2006 and as the Worship Pastor at Capitol Hill Assembly Of God from December 2004 to June 2006. Earlier in their career, they served as the Worship and Senior Associate Pastor at Austin Bluffs Community Church for almost a decade, from November 1995 to November 2004.

Stephen Tipps received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Bible/Biblical Studies from Evangel University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
