Divya Katyal is currently a Help Desk Dispatch Analyst at Classroom Technology Services at the University of California, Berkeley, since February 2024. As the Director of Fundraising for Project RISHI since August 2022, Divya has focused on outreach and fundraising for sustainable projects, specifically addressing issues like teacher absenteeism in rural India. Divya founded Connect & Color, a non-profit providing art therapy classes to underserved students during COVID-19, and has successfully raised funds for art kits. Additionally, Divya initiated iCode at the Red Shield Salvation Army, a free coding program for Central Valley students, and served as an Ambassador for the Congressional App Challenge, mentoring participants in app development. Divya is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science and Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley, after completing an International Baccalaureate Diploma and a High School Diploma from Modesto High School.
