Mat Zarett Ramirez

Zarett Ramirez, MAT, is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since August 2021 and as a Lead Teacher for Project Scientist since April 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Teacher at Forest View Elementary within Durham Public Schools from August 2020 to June 2021 and as a Bilingual Family Support specialist at Child Care Services Association, where Zarett created Spanish home learning videos for bilingual families. Zarett also held positions as an Early Childhood/Family Support Intern at Child Care Services Association and an Administrative Work Study Student at UNC Family Medicine. Prior to these roles, Zarett worked as a Y Readers Summer Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. Zarett obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies from the same institution in 2020.
