Pravin Santhanam

Pravin Santhanam is a seasoned professional with a strong background in data science and analytics, currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at SportsCapital since March 2025, focusing on product development and customer success. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at unstructured.io from April 2023 to February 2025, where Pravin developed open-source libraries and APIs for Natural Language Processing and assisted clients in implementation. From November 2021 to March 2023, Pravin contributed as a Data Scientist at MITRE, working on R&D consulting and prototyping for intelligence and defense clients. Previously, as a Data Analyst in R&D/Performance Science with the Kansas City Royals from June 2018 to October 2021, Pravin conducted research on baseball operations using machine learning and statistical analyses. Pravin’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics & Statistics and Economics from Stony Brook University.
