Shakur Silas

Shakur Silas is an experienced professional with a background in social media management and program coordination. Currently serving as the Social Media Manager at Nobody's Darling Bar since January 2024 and the Program Manager for the Chicago Black Men's Caucus since August 2021, Shakur has also held the position of Outreach Specialist at Project Vida Inc from November 2020 to August 2021. Shakur's earlier experience includes roles as Program Coordinator, Research Assistant, and Peer Mentor at Indiana State University from May 2016 to June 2020. Shakur holds a Master's degree in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University, attained between 2019 and 2021, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Human Psychology from the same institution, completed in 2019.
