Project Youth
Jodie Darge has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jodie worked as a CEO at Project Youth Inc from January 2019 to the present. Prior to that, they served as a Strategic Commissioning Manager at the London Borough of Camden from December 2015 to May 2017. Jodie also had a brief stint as a Consultant at The WISH Centre from September 2015 to December 2015. Jodie has extensive experience with Harrow Council, where they held multiple roles including Service Manager, Team Manager, Commissioner & Troubled Families Lead, Violence Against Women & Girls Coordinator, Sexual Health Coordinator, and Service Manager & Development Coordinator from 2005 to 2014. In 2009, they volunteered with children and young people at TIME Projects. Before that, Jodie worked at Mission Australia as an Interim Service Manager & Case Coordinator from March 2002 to February 2005. Jodie also worked as a Drug & Alcohol Worker at The Ted Noffs Foundation Inc from January 2001 to March 2002. Earlier in their career, they were a General Manager at MD Tech from June 1998 to December 2000.
Jodie Darge holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Communication from the University of Wollongong, obtained between 1990 and 1994. They also have a Post Graduate Degree in Psychology from Charles Sturt University, completed from 2000 to 2003. In addition, Jodie has obtained a Diploma of Governance in the field of Governance from the Institute of Community Directors Australia. They also possess a Certificate in Executive Management and Development from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, obtained in 2022.

Project Youth
Project Youth, established over 30 years ago, is a Non-Government, not for profit organisation based in Southern Sydney, providing support and assistance to young people who are homeless or facing disadvantage. Project Youth's vision is to create a future where all young people can thrive regardless of the disadvantage they face. To do this Project Youth provide trauma-informed support for young people aged 12-24 who have complex needs, are at risk, come from disadvantaged backgrounds and would not be able to fulfil their potential without additional support. Our work is in three main areas: 1. Homelessness and Housing: Accommodating young people in crisis and supports transition into independent living or returning to their family home 2. Early Intervention: Intervening early to reduce and stop escalation of issues 3. Education, Employment and Training: Providing pathways to employment and education through our 2 social enterprises, Cafe Y and Labour Y Project Youth is a Public Benevolent Institution and Deductible Gift Recipient which means that donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
