Jerylee Wong

Jerylee Wong has extensive experience working at Projects Abroad. Jerylee began their career there as a Desk Officer in 2003, where they handled volunteer communication and managed budgets and administration for the Mexico country office. During their time in this role, they also played a role in establishing new country destinations and assisting with operations in Ghana.

In 2011, Jerylee became the Country Director for Tanzania, overseeing all operations and coordinating a team of 13 staff members. Jerylee held this position until 2012 when they transitioned to the role of Co-director for a short period.

From 2012 to 2020, Jerylee took on various roles at Projects Abroad, including Country Director for Mexico, Operations Manager, and Deputy Operations Director. In these positions, they were responsible for managing operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth running of the organization.

Finally, in 2020, Jerylee became the Operations Director, the highest position they have held at Projects Abroad.

Jerylee Wong completed a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Unversidad de Guadalajara, spanning from 1999 to 2003. Later, from 2008 to 2010, Jerylee pursued an MSc in International Strategic Management and English from Stockholm University.
