Tomas Backlund

Tomas Backlund is an experienced building constructor and project manager currently affiliated with PE Teknik & Arkitektur since November 2022. Prior roles include leadership positions at Bjerking and AFRY, where responsibilities encompassed managing structural projects and assignments. With a strong foundation in steel structures gained at Pöyry Sweden AB and a background in industrial project planning at Sweco Structures AB, Tomas brings expertise in design and manufacturing of steel constructions, adhering to established standards. Early career experience includes project administration at Landstorps Cadhouse and consulting for WSP Building Projects on significant undertakings like the "Framtidens Universitetssjukhus." Tomas holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in Community Building from Mälardalen University, completed in June 2011.
