Itai Bloch

Itai Bloch has extensive work experience in the field of computational chemistry and drug discovery. Itai is the Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at Eggmented Reality since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Advisor at MigVax starting from March 2020. Itai co-founded ProJini AgChem in December 2019, where they served as the Co-Founder and CSO. At ProJini AgChem, they focused on developing solutions targeting protein-protein interactions using computational-biophysical methods.

Itai Bloch worked as a Computational Chemistry and Drug Discovery Principal Investigator at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute from September 2012. Itai'swork there involved the rational design of new vaccines and protein-based therapeutics.

Itai also has previous work experience at Dynamix Pharmaceuticals, where they held the position of Senior Scientist from May 2010 to August 2012 and R&D Scientist in Computational Drug Discovery from June 2009 to June 2010. Similarly, they worked as an R&D Scientist in Computational Drug Discovery at EPIX Pharmaceuticals from April 2007 to June 2009.

Itai Bloch has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Biophysics, which was obtained between the years 2000 and 2003. Following this, Itai pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Chemistry with a specialization in Structural Biology from 2003 to 2006.
