Marisa Flannery

Marisa, a native of the Hudson Valley, recently joined the microBIOMETER® team in June 2022. Marisa acquired a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Pace University with a focus in soil science. Throughout her graduate studies, Marisa spent summers in Costa Rica analyzing the microbiomes of medicinal plant species native to the region to help determine the role they play on the ecosystem. Marisa’s role in the company includes test development and quality control, research and content creation, and customer support. When she’s not in the office or lab, you can find her outside bird watching or scouring the forest floor for native wildflowers.
