Shuang Xia

Shuang Xia is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the financial technology sector. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Prolific since April 2025, Shuang previously held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Monzo Bank from January 2023 to March 2025. Prior roles at Meta included Staff Data Scientist and Data Scientist from August 2018 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes roles at MyDrive Solutions and KPMG UK, where significant contributions were made to digital fraud programs and large-scale banking platform transformations. Shuang holds a PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews and a BSc in Biology from Peking University.
