Javier Carral

Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and an MBA from the University of Houston (USA). He began his professional career at Banesto Mercado de Capitales. In 1994 he joined HSBC Bank where he held different responsibilities in the areas of Treasury and Markets, Private Banking, ending this period as President of HSBC Gestión SGIIC. In 2000 he joined Caixa Galicia, where he held different positions of responsibility: General Manager GesCaixa Galicia SGECR, Director of the Financial Centers, Director of Investments and CEO of the Industrial Corporation. In 2014 he was appointed Director of Investees of ABANCA. He has been a member of various boards of directors of companies such as Itinere Infraestructuras, R Cable, Cafento, Plásticos Ferro, Gas Galicia, Dinak, Cupa Group, Norvento, Grupo Continental, Helena Activos Líquidos, Vigo Activo SCR, Sodiga SGECR, President of Espacios Thermoludics and Vice President of Tecnocom. In addition, he has been a member of the advisory boards of Unirisco, R&D Unifondo, Baring Iberia and Diana Capital.
