Timme van der Meer

Timme van der Meer has a diverse work experience in the fields of front-end engineering and user experience design. Timme is currently employed as a Senior Front-end Engineer at Promaton since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TomTom as a Senior UX Designer from April 2021 to May 2022, and as a UX Designer from September 2019 to April 2021. Timme also has experience as a Software Engineer at VanBerlo from July 2015 to August 2019, where they worked on digital and digital-physical design projects, incorporating activities such as interaction/experience design, prototyping, full-stack development, and system architecture. Timme has also worked as a Software Engineer/UX Designer at Acode/IT from October 2017 to October 2018, where they focused on creating user-centered digital workflows for legal procedures. Additionally, Timme gained experience as a Graduate Intern at KLM from February 2017 to September 2017, working on a VR project for safety and security training of cabin crew. Overall, Timme's work experience showcases a strong background in both front-end engineering and user experience design, with a focus on creating optimal user experiences through integration of design and development disciplines.

Timme van der Meer began their education at Johan de Witt Gymnasium in 2006, where they pursued the Gymnasium NT program with a focus on Nature & Technology. Timme completed their studies at the gymnasium in 2012. Subsequently, from 2012 to 2015, Timme attended Delft University of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrieel Design Engineering. In 2014, they participated in an Erasmus Foreign Exchange program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, further broadening their educational experience. Timme then continued their academic journey at Delft University of Technology, specializing in Integrated Product Design. Timme completed their Master of Science (MSc) in this field in 2017.
