Russell Brown

Russell Brown has extensive experience in both health informatics and perfusion technology. With a current role as ITS Director at ProMedica since April 2012, Russell oversees revenue cycle, health information management, and reporting applications. Previous positions at ProMedica include ITS Supervisor and Analyst III, leading the Emergency Department Clinical IT team. Prior to ProMedica, Russell worked as a perfusionist at HemoSolutions LTD, Firelands Regional Medical Center, St. Lukes Hospital, Circulatory Assist Services, and Mercy-St. Vincent Toledo, providing cardiac perfusion services and contributing to clinical blood management and tissue engineering. Russell's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia and Rush University, along with foundational training in emergency medical technology from The University of Toledo and Medical College of Ohio.
