Joshua Thiede is a Senior Research Scientist at Promega Corporation, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Minnesota's Center for Immunology, where research focused on SARS-CoV-2 and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, utilizing scRNA-seq methodologies. As a PhD Graduate Student in the Microbiology and Immunology Department at the University of Minnesota from September 2013 to June 2019, Joshua worked on novel therapeutic regimens to address drug-resistant tuberculosis. Prior to these roles, Joshua was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at both the Department of Botany and the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, contributing to research on prairie plants and genetic aspects of bacteria. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's Degree with dual majors in Biology and Classical Humanities from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
