Randall Dimond

Randall Dimond is an accomplished academic and industry leader with extensive experience in microbiology and related fields. Since June 1977, Randall has served as an Adjunct Professor of Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, participating in various committees for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. Additionally, Randall holds the position of Associate Professor of Bacteriology, focusing on research interests encompassing microbiology, developmental genetics, cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and immunochemistry. Since 1984, Randall has also been the Vice-President and Chief Scientific Officer at Promega Corporation. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Biology from UC San Diego, with a specialization in developmental genetics and biochemistry, a Post-Doc in Molecular Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Utah, concentrating on molecular and genetic biology.
