Marie Jorajuria, CFA, CAMS

Marie Jorajuria, CFA, CAMS has extensive experience in the financial services industry. Marie began their career in 2004 as the Principal and Founder of Compliance Assist, a firm providing outsourced Chief Financial and Chief Compliance Officer services to investment firms. In 2008, they took on the role of Director at KQED. In 2010, they became the President, Chief Compliance Officer, and Financial Operations Principal at Wealthfront, a Broker/Dealer subsidiary of an online financial adviser. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Head of Finance and Compliance at Equilibrium Capital Group, a Sustainable Investing Firm with a platform of Real Assets. In 2015, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Tahoe Spirits, Inc. In 2017, they held two roles: Interim Chief Financial Officer at NeighborWorks Capital, and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at SharesPost. In 2019, they took on the role of Interim Chief Compliance Officer at Brex, where they were brought in to manage the first product launch. Finally, in 2021, they became the Chief Compliance Officer at Prometheus Alternative Investments.

Marie Jorajuria has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained between 1984 and 1987. Marie also held a Fellowship at Princeton University in 1986 in the field of Economics. In 2008 and 2009, they obtained a Certificate of Advanced Accounting Proficiency from Santa Clara University in the field of Accounting. Additionally, they are a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certified by the CFA Institute.
