Patricia Aragon Han

Clinical Research Scientist at Prometheus Laboratories Inc.

Patricia Aragon Han has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical research and healthcare. Patricia is currently working as a Clinical Research Scientist at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., starting in May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Community Educator Specialist III at UC San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science, starting in October 2021.

Before joining UC San Diego, Patricia worked at Velocity Clinical Research, Inc. as a Clinical Trials Research Coordinator III from October 2021 to May 2022. Patricia also worked at ProSciento, Inc. as a Clinical Trials Research Assistant II- Dosing coordinator from June 2019 to September 2021.

Patricia pursued their education at UC San Diego, where they completed a Master's degree in Advanced Sciences - Clinical Research from January 2017 to November 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Neurosurgery at UC San Diego Health - Moores Cancer Center from June 2015 to December 2016.

Earlier in their career, Patricia gained valuable research experience through a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Oncology and Endocrine Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from February 2012 to June 2015. Patricia led a multi-site clinical study focused on determining risk stratification models for thyroid cancer treatment using molecular markers.

Patricia began their career in the medical field as a Medico Cirujano y Partero at Universidad de Guadalajara from August 2005 to December 2012. Patricia also completed a Research Fellowship in Vascular Surgery and a Medical Internship at the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán from July 2011 to June 2012 and July 2010 to June 2011, respectively.

Patricia Aragon Han completed their education in a chronological manner. Patricia first attended Colegio Cervantes Bosque from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained their Secundaria (secondary school diploma). Following this, they enrolled in Colegio Cervantes Costa Rica from 2002 to 2005, where they earned their High School Diploma.

After completing their high school education, Patricia went on to pursue higher studies at Universidad de Guadalajara from 2005 to 2012. During this time, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, specializing in the field of Medicine.

Most recently, Patricia attended UC San Diego from 2017 to 2020, where they earned a Master of Advanced Sciences degree in Clinical Research.
