Liem Dam-Quang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2014, they began their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Concordia University, where they conducted independent research on green chitosan production. They also worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Structural and Functional Genomics, focusing on the characterization of fungal enzymes.

In 2017, Dam-Quang joined the Omanovic Electrochemistry & Corrosion Laboratory as a Research Assistant, conducting experiments on catalysts for hydrogen water splitting. They also prepared reports using NOVA and Excel.

In 2018, Dam-Quang worked as a Product Development Intern at Talara Bio Inc., contributing to the research and development of a deposition process for lateral flow test strips.
