Jørgen Petersen has extensive experience in the IT sector, currently serving as Chairman of the Board for the IT Contracts group at Den Norske Dataforening since January 2003. Additionally, Jørgen Petersen has been the Managing Director of PROMIS AS since March 1997 and held the position of Department Manager at Terramar AS from January 1993 to February 1997. Jørgen Petersen holds a Master's degree in Datalinjen from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where studies were completed from 1979 to 1983.

PROMIS delivers consultancy services related to acquisition processes and quality assurance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects. We are a leading company within ICT acquisition processes and quality assurance of ICT projects in Norway. We have been responsible for developing the PS2000 contract standard, that has become a business standard within iterative system development.
