Elizabeth Pennington has extensive work experience in various roles related to development and philanthropy. Currently, they are the Chief Development Officer at Promises2Kids. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Philanthropy, Marketing & Communication at Monarch School, where they managed the development team and raised $6 million annually. Before that, Elizabeth worked at the La Jolla Playhouse as the Senior Manager of Foundation & Government Relations and Institutional Giving Officer. Elizabeth has also held positions at The San Diego Museum of Art, Scripps Health, Cardiff Elementary School, The Athenian School, University of California, San Francisco, and Philanthropy Management, Inc. Throughout their career, Elizabeth has successfully led capital campaigns and provided development consultancy services to various organizations.
Elizabeth Pennington has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from UC San Diego. Elizabeth also holds a California Teaching Credential with an emphasis in Arts Education from California State University San Marcos. Additionally, they have obtained a Planned Giving Certification from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
