Stephanie Segal Ortega

Stephanie Segal Ortega has extensive work experience, starting in 2006 with Promises2Kids. Stephanie served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for program planning, organizing, operating, and staffing. Stephanie also managed the program and operational aspects of the annual budget. Prior to their role as COO, they were the Vice President of Operations, where they provided direction for programs and administrative operations. Stephanie played a crucial role in the Guardian Scholars program for nine years, managing its growth and success, overseeing program staff and advocates, and maintaining donor relationships. Additionally, Stephanie co-owned and operated Artesano Taco & YTacote Catering, specializing in on-site taco cart catering and food truck services.

Stephanie Segal Ortega completed their Bachelor's degree in Law and Society with a Minor in Spanish from UC Santa Barbara between 1999 and 2003. Following this, they pursued further education at Argosy University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from 2003 to 2005.
