Ness Diwan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1992, Diwan worked as a Systems Trainer at Nesbitt-Burns/BMO until 1995. From 1994 to 1998, Diwan served as a Sales Manager at Sigma Systems/Canac Telecom. In 1998, Diwan joined Lucent Technologies - Kenan Systems as a New Business Sales Manager for EMEA until 2001.

From 2001 to 2003, Diwan worked at Smarten Software as the Regional Sales Director (S)EMEA. During this time, Diwan helped introduce a billing and rating engine for telecom operators. Ness Diwan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications & Mass Media from McGill University. In 2006, they obtained a Technical Writing Certificate in Technical Authoring from Carleton University.
