Elodie Benard, MS, CCRP-PM, has a diverse background in clinical research and psychology. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Clinical Psychologist for Sur les Bancs de l'Ecole, where they focused on working with children with autism and developmental disorders. Elodie led daily activities, conducted cognitive remediation sessions, and facilitated social skills workshops.
In 2012, Elodie volunteered for Ligue contre le cancer, providing home visits and utilizing active listening skills with cancer patients. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Clinical Psychologist for Ecole des Parents, offering parenthood guidance and leading workshops for parents.
Moving into the field of clinical research, Elodie joined Montefiore Health System in 2016 as a Clinical Research Manager. In this role, they coordinated and oversaw clinical research trials in pediatric hematology/oncology/bone marrow transplantation/cellular therapy. Elodie conducted quality control of data reporting and management, managed grant finances, and prepared regulatory documents. Elodie also collaborated with principal investigators and different CROs for industry-based studies and helped implement a clinical trials management system.
In 2019, Elodie transitioned to the New York Proton Center as a Clinical Research Manager. Their responsibilities included coordinating and overseeing all activities of clinical research trials focused on health-related quality of life in children and adults with cancer. Elodie also managed grant finances, prepared financial reports, and supported the Research Director.
Currently, Elodie works at Promontory Therapeutics as a Clinical Trials Manager in Europe, starting in 2020. No end date information is provided for this role.
Elodie Benard, MS, CCRP-PM has an extensive education history. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Université de Tours. Elodie then pursued further studies and completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hanover College in 2008. Subsequently, they earned a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Strasbourg in 2010.
In 2012 and 2013, Elodie attended Pierre and Marie Curie University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Psychological Trauma. Elodie continued their education by attending the Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals program at Cornell University in 2017.
Elodie's interest in the field of public health led their to enroll in the Epidemiology and Population Health Summer Institute at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2018. Elodie focused on the field of Epidemiology during their attendance at the program.
In 2019, Elodie pursued further education in the field of public health and implementation science. Elodie attended the Epidemiology and Population Health Summer Institute at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, specializing in Implementation Science.
In addition to their academic accomplishments, Elodie has obtained several certifications and memberships in the field of clinical research. Elodie became a Certified Clinical Research Auditor through Barnett International Consulting in December 2019. Elodie also obtained certifications such as Academy of Clinical Research Professionals- Project Manager, Association of Clinical Research Professionals - Certified Professional (ACRP-CP®), and ACRP CP through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals in 2019. Elodie is also a proud member of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
