Seema Handu, Ph.D., currently serves as the Country Director for PRONTO International in India, focusing on optimizing care during birth through innovative simulation-based training strategies. Simultaneously, Seema Handu acts as a Senior Advisor for the Maternal Newborn Health Research Cooperative at UCSF. Previous roles include Consultant at One Heart World-Wide, which aims to improve healthcare access for women and babies in rural Nepal, and Chief Operating Officer at Project Happiness, dedicated to empowering individuals globally. Seema Handu has also held leadership positions in various organizations such as Managing Director at the Children's Global Health Initiative, Vice President at PointCross/PharmQuest, Chair of the SEND Consortium, and Co-Founder and CEO of PharmQuest Corporation. Seema Handu holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Iowa.
