David Cotos

David Cotos has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role was as an IAM Engineer at ProofID, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Consultant at Sobrinasia, LLC, and as an Application Specialist at the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners.

Before these roles, David held a position as a Systems Engineer 2 at Cleveland Clinic where they managed various tasks such as configuring and troubleshooting network environments, maintaining Windows Active Directory, monitoring network performance, and implementing security measures. Earlier on, they served as a Network Administrator at Vero Radiology Associates, Inc., and as a Desktop Support Technician II at Indian River Medical Center.

David's extensive career also includes being a Senior Help-Desk Technician at the University of Miami and working as a Systems Support & DOT Assistant at Hines Horticulture. Furthermore, David has certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice in ITIL Foundation, from CompTIA in Security+, A+, and Network+, and from Microsoft in MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSA: Windows Server 2008, MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008, MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure, Configuration, and MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuration. Lastly, they hold certifications from Duo Security as a Certified Duo Help Desk Administrator and a Certified Level 1 Duo Administrator, obtained in 2022.
