Vinit Adhopia

Vinit Adhopia is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and software development, currently serving as Sr Director of Engineering at Proofpoint since March 2010. Vinit has held various roles within the company, including Director and Senior Manager, focusing on managing production issues and leading a team of Sustaining Engineers. Prior to Proofpoint, Vinit worked as Manager of Informatics & Programming Support and Lead Developer at the Toronto Centre for Phenogenomics, where responsibilities included developing a Laboratory Information Management System and a web application to support research. Vinit's earlier experience includes positions at the University of Toronto as a Web Developer and at IBM Canada Ltd. as a WebSphere Commerce Software Builder. Vinit holds an Hon. B. Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
