Matt Butner

Matt Butner is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background spanning various roles in the media and public service sectors. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the Propane Education & Research Council since August 2022, Matt previously held the position of Content Coordinator at Best Version Media from October 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, Matt worked as a Communications Consultant for the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles from October 2012 to August 2022 and gained extensive experience as a Videographer, Reporter, Producer, and Satellite Truck Operator at NBC12 - WWBT from May 2005 to October 2012. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Relations from Michigan State University, earned in May 2002.
