Amanda Chipako

Amanda Chipako is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in investment and finance. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Officer at PROPARCO since April 2017, Amanda has a strong background as an Investment Officer within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Financial Advisor for Acquisitions, Investments, and Financial Advisory at ENGIE and working in Mining, Energy, and Infrastructure Finance at Standard Bank. Amanda began their career with a Graduate Programme at Standard Bank after completing a degree in Business Science with a focus on Actuarial Science at the University of Cape Town, where Amanda also tutored Statistics and Economics. Earlier internships included positions at Sanlam Investments, Momentum, and Swiss Re, where Amanda gained valuable insights and skills in actuarial science and finance.
