Wamide Animashaun

Wamide Animashaun has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they are the Ecosystem & Partnerships Lead at Propel, where they focus on partnering with tech communities in Africa to offer value to their members. Prior to this, they worked at PE Energy Ltd as the Strategy & Business Transformation Lead, managing partner and client relationships while developing strategic objectives and digital initiatives for growth.

Before that, Wamide served as the General Manager, Operations at Kari Care Technology Ltd, overseeing technical and business operations and leading a cross-cultural team across Africa, Asia, and Europe. Wamide successfully spearheaded the expansion of the company's business development arm and achieved significant sales revenue growth within two years.

Wamide also gained experience at PwC Nigeria as a Senior Associate and Associate in their Advisory Technology department. Wamide analyzed user requirements, deployed technology solutions, and managed vendor relationships to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Jumia Group, co-managing a team and developing graphic content for various websites.

Earlier in their career, Wamide served as a Youth Corps Member at Adeleke University, a Trainee Developer at Seamfix Nigeria Company, and an Intern at Telnet Nigeria Limited.

Wamide Animashaun pursued their education at Alba Graduate Business School from 2017 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Business. Prior to that, they attended Covenant University from 2007 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.
