Melissa Spitz

Melissa Spitz is a skilled photography professional with extensive experience in photo editing, digital asset management, and education. Currently serving as a Sr. Photo Editor and Retoucher at Proper Cloth since October 2022, Melissa has previously managed a photography business and contributed to various roles in several organizations, including as a Digital Manager at Roman and Williams Guild and an Adjunct Professor at Kean University. With a strong foundation in photography archives, image retouching, and teaching, Melissa has digitized and restored over 12,000 historical images and has been recognized for creating impactful social media content that garnered significant community engagement. Melissa holds an MFA in Photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
