Michael Manikas

Michael Manikas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership across multiple sectors. Currently serving as General Manager at DLG Shape since June 2019, Michael oversees construction fitout and refurbishment services for a diverse clientele, primarily focused on government projects. In academia, Michael has taken on roles as a Casual Lecturer on Aboriginal Health at UNSW and as a member of the Indigenous Industry Advisory Group at the University of Technology Sydney. As a co-founder and director of both Biripi Capital and The Dreaming Foundation, Michael is dedicated to addressing gaps in education, health, and employment for Indigenous Australians. Additional leadership roles include directorship at The Dreaming Food Group and membership on various advisory committees, including the Property Council of Australia's NSW Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. Michael's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Aboriginal Studies and a Bachelor of Building, Construction Economics.
