Steve Melhuish

Steve Melhuish is a prominent entrepreneur and investor in the climatetech and sustainability sectors, currently serving as the Founding Partner and GP of Wavemaker Impact since January 2021, where the focus is on building and investing in climatetech ventures. As the Founder and CEO of Planet Rise, established in 2019, Melhuish addresses climate change and social inequality by supporting impactful companies. Before that, Melhuish co-founded and was the former CEO of PropertyGuru, transforming the real estate market in Southeast Asia. Additionally, Melhuish holds advisory and investment roles in various organizations including Ampd Energy, Eco-Business, Impact Investment Exchange, and Intensel Limited. Melhuish further contributes as an Official Nominator for The Earthshot Prize, aimed at environmental restoration. Education includes a Bachelor in Communications Engineering from the University of Plymouth and a diploma in Marketing from the University of Reading.
