Frits Traets

Frits Traets is an AI expert currently employed at the European Commission since May 2024 and serves as a Data Scientist at Prophecy Labs, where responsibilities include developing AI assistants and optimizing text processing techniques. With extensive experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at KU Leuven since September 2015, Frits specializes in statistical modeling of discrete choice data and software development in R, alongside prior roles in data analysis and teaching multivariate statistics. Frits holds a PhD in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, along with a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in psychology.
