Luca Verre

Luca Verre has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Quality Engineer at Altis Semiconductor in 2003. Luca then worked as a Test Engineer at Toyota Motor Corporation in 2004. In 2006, Luca worked as a Research Assistant in Photonics at Imperial College London. From 2007 to 2013, they held various roles at Schneider Electric, including Project Manager, Product Marketing Manager, and Strategy and Business Development Manager. In 2014, Luca co-founded PROPHESEE and served as the CEO. Luca then worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at INSEAD in 2016. Currently, Luca is a Technology Pioneer at the World Economic Forum since November 2017.

Luca Verre pursued their education at various prestigious institutions. In 2000, they enrolled at Politecnico di Milano for their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering, which they completed in 2005. Parallel to this, from 2002 to 2004, Luca Verre attended Ecole centrale de Lyon, focusing on Industrial Engineering, where they also earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree. Later, in 2013, they joined INSEAD for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, specializing in General Management, Entrepreneurship, Strategy, and Marketing, which concluded in 2014.
