Alex Nickel

Alex Nickel has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Alex is currently working at Prophet Exchange as a Product Owner, where they started in April 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Market Operations Manager at the same company from September 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Prophet Exchange, Alex worked at DraftKings Inc. as a Senior Sportsbook Operations Associate from March 2021 to August 2021, and as a Sportsbook Operations Associate from July 2020 to March 2021. Alex also interned with DraftKings Inc. as a Digital Sportsbook Operations Intern from May 2019 to August 2019.

Alex has experience in the sports industry, as they were the Head of Content and Client Director at Chalkline Sports from April 2018 to May 2020. Alex also served as the Head Baseball Coach at Illinois Baseball Academy from January 2012 to August 2018.

Outside of their professional work, Alex was involved in various leadership roles. Alex was a founding board member and Chancellor of Delta Sigma Pi, Vanderbilt's newest business fraternity, from August 2017 to May 2020. Alex also served as the Vice President and Greek Ally at Alpha Epsilon Pi, overseeing chapter meetings and handling relationships between the school administration and AEPi national offices from September 2017 to April 2018.

In addition to their work and leadership experiences, Alex worked as a Caddy at Lake Shore Country Club from May 2016 to August 2017. Overall, they have gained valuable skills and knowledge in product management, operations, coaching, and leadership throughout their professional journey.

Alex Nickel earned a Bachelor's degree in Human and Organizational Development/Economics and History from Vanderbilt University. In addition, Alex attended a summer class at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) focused on Further Statistics for Econometrics and Economics.
