Leila is Prophet’s global studio director, based in San Francisco. As a design practice leader, she oversees quality, consistency and the protocols that make Prophet a visual powerhouse. She is also responsible for the deployment of Prophet’s creative resources across projects globally to produce great work for clients.
She is an advocate of both the creative development process and the people who make great design happen. That requires continually refining the best traditional and digital practices that help teams achieve design excellence, creating visuals that reflect a brand’s persona. She finds inspiration everywhere. Her tastes run from the intense (Egon Schiele) to the playful–she’s an avid collector of Arhoj, the Danish studio known for its bright and cheerful ceramics.
Before joining Prophet, Leila worked at branding agencies in the Bay Area, including Forty Forty, Addis and Pentagram, as well as Levi Strauss.
She earned an MBA in marketing from San Francisco State University and an undergraduate degree in psychology, specializing in industrial organization, from the University of California, Berkeley. Leila lives in San Francisco with her daughter and beloved Great Danes.
