Efrain Alfredo Pozo

Efrain Alfredo Pozo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in interpretation, education, environmental management, and agricultural coordination. Since August 2021, Efrain has served as a Spanish Interpreter and Translator at Jeenie while also teaching Climate Change and Resilience at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés since April 2022. Previous roles include Head of Planning at VCDI - MDRyT, Director of Adaptation Mechanisms at World Vision, and COO at Ingenio Azucarero Guabira S.A., where Efrain oversaw the Cañero Lider Program. With expertise in environmental impact monitoring as an Environmentalist Specialist for SINOHYDRO GROUP LIMITED and an Irrigation Division Coordinator, Efrain has contributed to various irrigation and environmental projects throughout the career. Efrain holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in Agronomy and Crop Science from Universidad de San Simon and a Master of Science in Farming Systems from Iowa State University.
