Peter Hordijk

Peter Hordijk is an experienced data engineer currently working at ProRail since June 2024. In addition to this role, Peter has been a freelance web developer since March 2020. Previously, Peter held positions as a data scientist and data analyst at Portaal from November 2018 to May 2024 and served as a business intelligence and analytics consultant at Your Professionals | COMMIT to your SUCCESS! from December 2017 to October 2018. Peter's skill set includes programming in R, Python, and SQL Server, data analysis using statistical tools, and creating reports through visualization techniques. Peter also has a background in education, having worked as a private tutor for high school students in various subjects and as a research intern at VUmc, focusing on children with cerebral palsy. Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology.
